It has been a few days since I have moved in, and already there is so much I have to tell you!
First of all, moving in was exactly as expected... hectic, fun, (and slightly stressful). I mean the fact that when I moved in my carpet was nowhere near being finished I somehow made it through. Well, it was mainly because both my own and my boyfriend's parent's are just really great, uplifting, and encouraging people.
After my carpet was (finally) put in, my dad and boyfriend helped me start bringing my *many* boxes up into my apartment while my wonderful mother began cleaning until her heart desired. Hey! I know what you're thinking, and yes. I absolutely did the best overseeing job there was!
Okay, okay... I helped. A LOT. By the time I was finished, my parents had already left and my back and feet were killing me. (And honestly, between you and I, I'm still not even finished unpacking! Like I said... I DESPISE IT.)
Living somewhere new is a lot of things. Exciting, hopeful, scary even, but it is so much fun. Sure staying alone in a big apartment is definitely... interesting, but it's given me some time to self reflect and better understand myself, what I want from this year, and my goals.
So, yeah... my roommates still are not here, and although it's been nice staying in this place by myself, I'm ready to have some sort of conversation now. I met one roommate so far, Rachael, she seemed cool and laid back. I think we'd get along just fine! We'll see how everything works out.
I haven't really seen any of my friends from school yet, but that's more than likely the cause of school not starting for another week!
Now, if I could just find a way to make some money while I'm here... hmm I'll keep you updated.
but, for now... Stay Radiant, you guys.

Moving is the worst but at least it sounded like you had some good help! Also I wanna hear more about your boyfriend!!!
